O Facebook divulgou na última terça-feira, 29, uma lista com os 40 links mais compartilhados dentro da rede social durante 2011. O ranking pega apenas o que circulou pelos Estados Unidos.
CNN, The Huffington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post e Yahoo! News são os únicos veículos que aparecem.
O item mais compartilhado foi uma galeria do NYT com o antes e depois do terremoto que devastou parte do Japão no começo do ano.
O top 5 é completado por “O que professores realmente querem dizer aos pais” (CNN), “Não, seu signo do Zodíaco não mudou” (CNN), “Pais, não vistam suas filhas como vagabundas” (CNN) e o vídeo “Pai e filha dançam Medley” (Yahoo!).
O próprio Facebook aparece na lista. O número 7 traz uma notícia da CNN sob o título: “Você vai pirar quando vir o novo Facebook.”
Brasil não é o único
Em fevereiro, um levantamento feito pela JWT mostrou que o Brasil apresenta um cenário em que sete sites dominam a navegação local, com cerca de 75% dos pageviews: UOL, Terra, iG, Globo.com, Google (incluindo a busca, YouTube e Orkut), Microsoft Live e Yahoo!.
Mesmo ao descontar Google e Live, que não produzem conteúdo, o Ibope mostra que os cinco restantes respondem por metade do tráfego de dados por aqui. Nos EUA, descontando Facebook, os seis maiores sites (Yahoo!, Youtube, Amazon.com, MSN, Live.com e Ebay) chegam a ter apenas 7,5% do tráfego.
Mas a lista divulgada pelo Facebook mostra que há uma diferença entre o tráfego geral e o que circula pela rede social. Lá dentro, quem manda é a grande mídia.
